Completed Day 54 of P90X today – Core Synergistics.
Core Synergistics helps build and support multiple muscle groups to build and support the core while conditioning your body.
Core is a combo of strength (core) training and cardiovascular training. Next to the chest routine it’s probably the most challenging of all P90X workouts.
Your “core” is the muscle group that you use most often everyday of your live – when you lift a heavy box, reach over to pick up your child, reach to get something out of the top kitchen cabinet – you are using your “core” muscle group.
The argument goes….if you build up a strong core life the physical side of life should just be easier!
I have to tell you…..this is probably my sixth or so core workout since starting P90X and doing basic things like I outlined above are a piece of cake.
If you start P90X to do nothing more than build your “core” you will feel younger and likely burn more calories even when you aren’t working out since you’ll be in the best shape of your life and will have a more active lifestyle.
BTW – I’m stuck at 184, but I have 36 days and 4 lbs to achieve my weight loss goal of 180 lbs.
