What a great workout today!!!
I was at a business meeting pretty late last night so I decided to forgo the traditional 6am workout and work out at lunchtime.
I’ve said it before – what a difference a few hours of being awake makes.
I may have worked out harder today than ever – sweat was pouring off my body (I know, TMI) and I had to burn at least 1000 calories.
Part of my motivation likely came because I weighed in an a resounding 185 this morning – I honestly don’t remember the last time I weighed in at 185. As you know if you’ve been reading my posts….185 was my new goal after I broke 190 literally 60 days ahead of schedule.
My knew goal – 180 by Day 90 – tomorrow is Day 45, which means half way…..so all I need to do to hit my goal is drop another 5 lbs in 45 days – sounds doable, but I haven’t weighed in at 180 since Middle School (and I’m 34 years old).
Plyometrics is basically “jumping” exercises – it reminds me a lot of high school football workouts….stuff like “tires,” jump squats, etc.
Looking forward to tomorrow since it represents a huge milestone for Robyn and I.
So far I’ve lost 12 lbs and feel great, while Robyn has lost more than that and she looks and feels amazing……we better both look good since we are off to South beach in two weeks!
